Let's face it. A lot of people feel limited by where they live. There's nothing wrong with North Dakota - but if you're a kid who's into Death Metal, you're probably out of luck with guitar lessons. Study online with me however, and the problem is solved. Whether you're on the road, live in the middle of nowhere, or simply don't have the time or ability to travel, you can take advantage of my teaching experience - right from your own computer! Don't you just love the internet? |

Like martial arts, during a lesson you learn things - but you have to train at home. So what's the problem with most online lessons? No written material to take away when it's over! That's not a problem when you study with me. My online lesson format allows me to write everything down for you in real time, just like a real lesson, in your very own music book. You see it too. At the end, we export to PDF, and Voila! - lesson material to practice all week long. |

What's the disadvantage of communicating via webcam? Lag-time. While it's no big deal for talking, even a miniscule amount can interfere with jamming - and playing together is important in a lesson. No worries. With my fully equipped mobile recording studio, I can record an example or backing track as we need it - during the lesson - and send you the mp3 immediately. You can play over it with no lag, same as if I was in the room with you. Plus, you get to keep it for practice after the lesson. |

There's many a time when a student brings in a song to learn. But think about it...with online lessons, how is your teacher supposed to hear the song, let alone rewind it a few times to get that fast part? Got it covered. I subscribe to Rhapsody, which means I have instant access to over 13 million songs. Chances are, that song with the hot solo you like so much is on there - so I can listen to it during the lesson and show you how to play it. |
